How to Fix Your Life Like an Engineer
Lately, my energy has been low and things have felt off. When a car breaks down, you do not stand by the hood hoping it magically starts. You grab your tools and fix it. Instead of feeling guilty, I am treating my life like a system that needs a tune-up.
Run Small Experiments
Do not overhaul your life overnight. Test one small change for a week, like cutting off caffeine at 1 p.m. or taking a short morning walk. If it works, keep it. If it does not, drop it and move on.
Be Realistic, Stay Practical
Blind optimism is useless, and complaining changes nothing. Acknowledge what is broken, then focus strictly on what you can control.
Maintain Your Relationships
Relationships need regular upkeep. When someone is going through a tough time, skip the advice and just listen. Simply showing up matters far more than offering clever solutions.
Do Not Wait for a Crisis
You do not need a major wake-up call to change your daily habits. Identify what matters right now and cut out the fluff.
You do not need a perfect fix. You just need today to be slightly better than yesterday.
