Kate

Founder and Well-being Event Manager

I've always been drawn to experiences that connect people, which is why I've spent over 25 years working in events and hospitality. From yoga and fitness health events to large-scale sporting events, I love creating spaces where people can connect, learn, and grow. This work is important to me because, motivated by social good, I’ve seen first hand the life-changing impact that movement, connection, and community can have on people’s health and wellbeing. With experience across commercial, charitable, and government organisations, I have a passion for the well-being sector and championing equal access to physical activity.

A journey of discovery and inspiration led to the creation of Kate Louise Rose.

My background in dance, encompassing both classical and contemporary disciplines, provided a foundation for understanding movement and its impact. The introduction of yoga and somatic practices significantly deepened my awareness of the mind-body connection, leading to personal transformation. My passion for yoga and well-being deeply influences my approach to events. I believe in fostering a sense of community and providing opportunities for personal growth, just as the practice of yoga does.

My career highlights include major events like the Ryder Cup, Rugby World Cup, The Ashes, London Olympics, and high-profile summits for NATO.

The pandemic's disruption of the events sector presented an opportunity for introspection and growth. During this period, I began teaching online candle-making workshops. This unexpected experience ignited a passion for wellness, prompting me to delve into the study of mental health and well-being. I became particularly interested in the potential of well-being events to enhance team productivity and engagement within corporate environments.

My Charity of choice

I believe that everyone’s well-being is important, which is why I support the Samaritans. This unique charity is dedicated to reducing the feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide.

To support this cause, 5% of all event profits are invested in mental health initiatives.
